NORCAL SS
i know you guys are into modding the hell out of the trucks and im looking to do a whipple 2.9 or 2.3 lysholm on my cts-v. Anyone here have experience with either or? Currently im doing 15-15.5 psi boost on my tvs1900 on the caddy and its fast as hell but id rather use less boost to make more power. smoothdime
dont they make some sort of kit to put the zr1 blower and what not on the ctsv? I assume that with the 2300 it would acheive the same if not more power with less boost than the 1900? but im far from an expert on this. NORCAL SS
yea 2300 on our car didnt make that much more power. Same boost level like 15-20 rwhp.

detjoe
pull the LSA and out a 427 in there. I dont see it worth it to swap parts on a very capable car, with the goals you have anyway :devil
NORCAL SS
yah i know 427 sounds good. A lot of people complain about teh whipple 2.9s im seeing. Ill see what andy dynoes with the 2300 then go from there. HE said the kit would be less than 5 grand which is pretty good.
