smoothdime Posted September 11, 2011 Report Share Posted September 11, 2011 well just because its a 1/2ton doesn't mean that's what its rated for. 3/4t and 1t trucks have payload rating well over the 3/4t or 1t name plate. if you put 1t of rocks in the truck, its not even gonna flinch. i've personally put over 3k in the bed of my truck and it was about an inch lower in the rear than the front. these are trucks so if you use it for what it is every once in awhile it's not gonna hurt it. use it and wash her when your done. gary Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
