mr84ss Posted September 12, 2011 Report Share Posted September 12, 2011 whats up fam. i just bought a 04 ss. for some reason she put a regular silverado door panel on the driverside, which dont fit good btw. my problem is when you turn the truck off the radio stays on which is normal, (my dad has a 03 silverado). on my dad truck when you cut the truck off and open the driver door the radio cuts off. on the 04 ss when you cut the truck off and open the driver door it stays on and wont go off, but if you go open the passenger door it will cut itself off. what do i need to fix the ignoring problem? thanks in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

paulguy Posted September 12, 2011 Report Share Posted September 12, 2011 When you open the drivers door when the trucks on does it say 'drivers door open' on the dic? Probably not, so your going to have to pull the door panel off to test for sure. The door pin is in the latch, so I think you have to replace the entire latch.
