DroppedOn22's Posted September 24, 2011 Report Share Posted September 24, 2011 What's up guys! Just discovered this forum. I bought me a '04 Chevy 1500 about 2 months ago. I have owned an F-150 for the last 5 years, which I still have, but I wanted something newer! I LOVE my Chevy. What a great truck. Now, I know my truck isn't an SS, but I have gone through MANY Chevy forums and this one just keeps me coming back. So I had to join! I have a 4.8 Vortec and I do love how it runs. It has a few mods, but I want to deck this truck and really set it off over time. I've seen some of y'alls SS's and WOW! Very nice rides. I am wanting to add: Recon Smoked LED taillights with LED reverse lights, 3rd brake light Halo Projector headlights w/matching bottom lights 8000K HID in Low Beam and Fog Lights Roll pan with LED plate light and hidden hitch Street Scene SS bumper cover with paint to match air dams and billet grills Edge Programmer AFE Stage 2 Intake Throttle Body Spacer Some more paint to match pieces on the outside and inside and whatever else I find, lol. But that's a list of what I have planned to do as of now! 6.0L motor swap? I've been wanting to do it, but if it's that big of a waste I'll save my money. What custom tune would be best and what brand would be best? I would rather have a tune more towards fuel economy than loads of power. I have Magnaflow Dumps at the rear axle on it right now. Sounds sick! The 6.0 motor would be nice, but I'd rather do other things to 'er right now. Haha, those pics are great!
