silverado777
Ok so in the transformation of my truck I need to get rid of any chrome that is left. So to accomplish this I am looking to get an SS bumper cover. I'm not looking to go OEM since I think they look too big on trucks without the cladding. So...with that being said my only two options are: Street Scenes - http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts/front_bumper_cover_-_ss_style_generation_1/5497/streetscenes8395070144front.aspx Or Ebay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevy-Silverado-SS-Bumper-Cover-03-04-05-06-07-/250899634574?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ASilverado+1500|Submodel%3ASS&vxp=mtr&hash=item3a6ac8998e#ht_5138wt_1293 The cost really doesn't matter to me. I think I'm leaning more towards the Ebay one since it looks more like OEM and like the lines between the scoops. I was just wondering if anyone has any pics of the one on Ebay without cladding so i can see how it looks/fits. Thanks, Steve
T-Bag
Steve, bruiser04 has the Street Scenes I believe. Here is his garage link: http://www.silverado...b=images&id=378 His truck looks really good. If you put a Silver Birch SS bumper on your front and tie in that molded roll pan, ahh man that's gonna look good! Do your brake ducts black to tie in your grille Edited October 21, 2011 by Bad Ass Silvy (see edit history)
silverado777
That does looks really good. Arg!! Decisions...decisions!!! I plan on painting the brake ducts black, as well as getting a black grill for the center of it. I'm also going to be ordering some primered door handles either this week or next and i already have the mirror caps to match. Then I will just have to figure out how to get that damn chrome off my grill! lol
jddmj
You can take a razor and peel that chrome off. It will come off in sheets literally. I plan on doing mine this way in the next few months.
T-Bag
You'll have to get it professionally painted SB, trust me, been there done that lol

blueracer
I have the street scene bumper and I wish I would went with oem or something else. I don't know if I just got the bad one out of the batch but it was warped to hell. Ive heard of others with good experience with the street scene bumper. After alot of tweaking, cutting, and glassing I got it to fit pretty good.

The bumper looks the same as a Street Scenes bumper though.
