cmoney23
Alright so i sold my 35W 8,000K and got 35W 10,000K. In person the 10,000K looks more white. I think DDM may have sent me the wrong part. Is there any way to tell if i did actually get the 35W 10,000K before sending DDM a hate email... Here's 2 pics can you tell which is which. One's with the 8K and the others with the 10K, both DDM

2001silverado364
Oh... Well then they look about the same, the top one a higher k...maybe. It's all in how the pic was taken, IMO.

cmoney23
Yeah both DDM both 35W. Yes they both look the same. One is 8,000k and 10,000K. Yes camera angle is gonna look a bit different, but shouldnt the 10,000K be way more blue. Like so much more noticable with 10,000K. I feel robbed!!! 2 HID kits in 3 weeks and not satisfied!! juriha
Top pic looks "bluer" so I think that's the 10k.
cmoney23
Top pic looks "bluer" so I think that's the 10k. Nope. Top is 8,000K and bottom is 10,000K. Not right is it. Atleast thats what DDM sent me. Edited November 15, 2011 by cmoney23 (see edit history)
2001silverado364
Yeah, those bottom ones look awful close to 6000k, which is my favorite, I say keep them. They look better than those bluer lights, IMO.
jm3907
Mine are 55w 10,000k ddm
cmoney23
Then mine being 35W 10,000K should be more blue than yours right?
silverado777
Why didn't you just buy a new set of bulbs? I think they are $12 plus shipping.
cmoney23
Why didn't you just buy a new set of bulbs? I think they are $12 plus shipping. I thought the ballast controls that?
silverado777
Nope. Bulbs are interchangeable between 35w kits and 55w kits. Its also why when you go to order them they never ask what kit you have, just they type of bulb you need.
cmoney23
Cool good info. Well this is my very 1st HID kit, so im not supposed to know this stuff. What if i got a 10,000K bulb and just DDM bulbs suck ass and arent gonna get that blue anyway. So i could order new 10,000K bulbs and be in the same boat... I may just settle with em.
