ThatTallCanadian Posted December 1, 2011 Report Share Posted December 1, 2011 No do not use primer, the point of plasti dip is that it is completely removable without damaging the original coating/paint. You're gonna want to do 2 coats minimum to get it thick enough. With plasti dip I find the thicker a coat you spray, the easier it is to remove in the future.
