you need to through in some type of muffler just to get that little bit of back pressure back. 2 and a half inch piping is plenty for most setups. try and get a hold of a couple magnaflow race mufflers or borla xr1s theyll prob help you get that low end back and are straight threw mufflers.

The same exact thing happened to me but I put a 3' catback true duel straight pipe with an X pipe... So no don't do that. Keep the 2 1/2 and look up some single or double panel mufflers. That should get you the little bit of back pressure you will need. I think magnaflow has a 10 series that are single panel.
