Blown 346
Hey man do the brushed aluminum pieces look like they might have been vinyl wrapped? I know of a company that sells vinyl dash trim kits.. Wonder if the dealer knew of them and got the kit from them. Its not vinyl. its like a hard plastic. I was in Oreilys today when another silverado owner saw the dash kit I have. O reilys has the same dash kit in there book. Im not sure if there book has everything I have, but there was the silver brushed aluminum style, wood grain etc. I also have the console trim. It had to grow on me, but now I dont mind it. MARTYW
Nice find! I would ditch the steering wheel cover, but all in all, very nice to find one with that low of mileage. Glad it is going to someone that is going to appreciate it! Looks like to me it is a regular SS with DEI stickers on it? Dont the actual ISS trucks say Intimidator in front of the SS emblem? I could not see the headrests from the interior pics. Edited March 5, 2012 by MARTYW (see edit history)

I thought the old owner put those stickers on the truck... I just took them off as I don't want to impersonate lol Edited March 5, 2012 by Blown 346 (see edit history)
kcsilveradoss
If it is an 03 it is not a DEI, they only made one in 03 and it is Craigs.

They look pretty similar. http://www.sherwoodinnovations.com/Sii-Search/DashKitImages.aspx?id=3D-2451&tbrow=8 http://www.sherwoodinnovations.com/Sii-Search/productSearch.aspx?product=DK Seems like I'd be S.O.L with this since i have the 40/20/40 buckets. Unless I do the swap, but I couldn't find the pieces for the back doors. Either way, you got yourself a great truck, glad you were able to finally find one. I think we need to have a gtg one day when the weather warms up, I'd like to meet you guys from the area. I don't see to many meets for our area.... You can get the dash bezel itself simply hydro dipped, then you can get ANY pattern imaginable pretty much laid into it. This video shows how it's done http://youtu.be/EmcdGmYexd8 buddy did it to his dodge ram, carbon fiber center, ghost skulls on the sides. Tylur06SS
imgunna take a wild stab at it and say that steering at it and say that steering wheel came out of an escalade. the parts that are silver on it where originally wood grain and were sanded down and painted silver. seen it a couple times and like it with the right color
Blown 346
The steering wheel is a gm part that was part of the whole kit. I have the dealer paperwork for it.
