I just got the correct MAP sensor/pigtail for my Holley HiRam intake swap(uses 2010 Camaro LS3 MAP),installed it with the proper tune and the engine wont start with it plugged in....

Ive been running the factory 09 6.2 truck MAP sensor but it was a very sloppy install and held in with RTV so it had to go!lol

Even before the proper tune, with the LS3 mapped plugged in,the truck would NOT run.I thought OK,the truck needs a proper tune to work with the LS3 MAP so I got my tuner to alter the tune. After the proper tune,it still would NOT run with the MAP plugged in....I checked and rechecked the wiring and everything appears 100%.

I got the MAP pinout for both from the dealership but maybe they gave me the wrong ones?

All wiring pigtails from GM now come with all white wires so no color coding.Heres what I have:

2010 Camaro LS3 MAP

A: 5 volt

B: low reference

C: signal

2005 LQ9 MAP

A: low reference orange/black

B: signal light green

C: 5 volt grey

And according to the info I have, cavity A is on the far left if you are looking at the connector with the plug lock on the top.

Is this correct?

And if it is correct, whats wrong?

Could I possibly have a bad MAP sensor out of the package?

Wouldnt be the 1st time ive bought a part thats bad out of the box but it would be the 1st time ive bought a OEM part thats bad out of the box!

My tuner showed me what he changed and I think it was slope and scale. He took the LS3 MAP specs and pasted them into my current tune.

The truck will fire up immediately with the MAP sensor unplugged, turn the truck off and plug the MAP back in and try to start the truck again and its no start, unplug it and it fires right up!!

Weird thing is,when I fire the truck up with the MAP unplugged,it DOES NOT throw a check engine light?

PLEASE HELP!! Anyone have any idea's because im out of them!!lol

Thanks guys!
