It's just riveted on there. Drill out the rivets and remove, some cleaner wax and good to go until filled and painted.

It's that easy? I just dont want it to look hacked up up front. Are the holes noticeable?

Thats the first thing I did when I moved to AZ. I reilled them out and I found some plastic plugs at Lowes that I Painted and put in the holes, and I looks good. There are also companies out there that make chrome plugs just to fill holes in plastic bumpers.

Now that Im back in Oregon I have to leave my front plate in my windshiled when I drive, but Im never going to put the front bracket back on.

Nice hood btw :pepsicheer:

Go to an Ace Hardware store and look for some plastic plugs to fill the holes. You can paint them and clear them with a rattle can and they look great. I would post up pics but I cant find any that show the front end of my truck close up.

I recently pulled outh the plugs to repaint them (since I did such a crappy job painting the first time), and you can hardley tell they are there.

Looks sweet! Where about in Phoenix are you? I'm usually all over this city and I haven't seen your SS before. I'd remember it if I did.
