chawkins6789
Would you guys run pistons with valve reliefs or not? I'm looking into getting an LQ4 for the salvage yard and rebuilding it. Summit has dished and flat top. I'll most likely do flat top, but for either they offer a valve relief. Whats the valve relief for, and which would you guys go with? I'm doing a NA no spray build. Blown 346
The reliefs are to make sure your valves dont smack the tops of the pistons. if you are going to have a aftermarket cam then yes its a good idea.
