Shocks and Brakes

Recommended Posts

I just replaced my rear brakes at 86K. Front brakes still look like new. I am still running stock shocks. If the ride gets "bouncy" like the shocks are not rebounding, it is time to replace them, As far as brakes go, I usually wait till the pads get thin. I let my rears get too thin and my indicators "squealers" were making noise. That is how I knew I had an issue.

Just for the record, my Avalanche had 35" tires and 112K on it and still had the original pads and rotors. I think it depends a lot on if you are hard on brakes or not. Apparently I am not. LOL

The ones I ordered are but they can do for drops as well. When you make an offer, tell them what you have and they should be able to get you the right stuff.

Check out this thread as he was dropped and ordered from them too.
