Fiberglass insulation under drivers side engine cover???

Recommended Posts

Its purpose is to try and smother fire if one were to start. They are pointles and dont work. They are supposed to drop down and cover a fire. But fire needs oxygen and with all the rest of the open space under the hood that little insulator wont do anything.

Mice use fiberglass insulation. I pulled it out, it came out in one piece. Literally looked like a piece of home insulation was cut and tucked in there. I thought it was a mouse nest for sure, till I took it out. Then I got worried it was supposed to be there so I tucked it back in! Lol.
