canadianVRss
This happens to our work trucks. Bad fuel out at work. Kills the fuel pumps and plugs the filters. That would be the first thing I'd be going for.
silverado777
You could have a vacuum leak if you didn't put the intake gaskets on correctly and could be leaning out the motor. Its just a thought but probably not it just trying to throw out ideas.
jdpiii3
I think I will start with new plugs, throttle body gasket, and new serpentine belt.

Blown 346
The fuel filter in 04 and up is non servicable. It is in the gas tank and you have to replace the entire fuel pump. Could be a batch of bad gas, is you fuel mileage the same when normal driving?

I'm going to start with some easy stuff in the morning and report back.

detjoe
find someone to log what the truck is doing and it should give you the info you need so you are not just throwing parts at it. I wonder if its the cats?

jdpiii3
Yea I was just under the truck and couldn't find one anywhere. In on the way to the speed shop now, I'll report back
jdpiii3
I just got back from the speed shop, they feel the flat spot on launch, it's not the fuel pump, throttle body, mass air flow, no spark plug miss the computer shows nothing, truck running perfect according to the computer. So Monday morning they are going to re-tune the computer to see if that fixes the flat spot.
