Seen this forum a few years back when I was actually looking for a truck to buy. At the time I considered to purchase an SS but it was completely out of my reach so I got a 2000 chevy silverado 4.8 and I love that truck has rims, nice sound system, and good rumble wasn't going to change it much maybe an engine mod for more horses . Then circumstances beyond my control like hail, a bent fender and other etc made me go all out on that truck but I am far from completing it got a custom hood, new tonneau cover, new stereo, headlights, tailights, and third brake light. So I started to need a ride recently while i complete it *don't like walking or having to get a ride* and the last couple of months I have been searching for a Pontiac G8 GXP but can't find one and prices keep going up so my friend got a Silverado SS a couple of months ago hit me up telling me that he is going to sale his and it was like destiny was coming for me and I got an 05 Chevy Silverado SS *Ps I have owned it for a week now*. Right now the SS is in awesome shape just the hood and top need a new coat of paint previous owner before my friend changed the grille and blacked out the grille inserts changed the rims and screwed holes on to the bumper for the license plate :/ really. So my plans are restore to factory grille back to add chevy ss bowtie emblem, new 22" replica ss rims, new headlight and taillights, new 3rd brake light. and restore back up. 1st owner did some mods can't remember them at the moment.
