SOKSOFF Posted October 13, 2012 Report Share Posted October 13, 2012 Hey Guys will a bad mass air flow sensor cause my SS to not shift? Like I have a trans problem....It shifts up to about 40mph.. But after that is sounds like its revved up. If I put the it in 2nd gear it engages.... Help is much needed.... Here are the codes Im getting... p0141,p0101,p0138,p0158,p0161,p0137,p0138,p0157..... I've had this truck about 1 1/2.... Only MODs I kow of are Headers and its has an air/gas phantom gauge in it.... Thanks for you advice in advance... The_aSSet Posted October 13, 2012 Report Share Posted October 13, 2012 Check all clamps for air leaks, and make sure they're tight. replace whatever O2's you need to. Then if the maf code doesn't go away then replace it. O2 sensors are more important than the maf if the front O2's aren't working. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
