DroppedOn22's
Even though I don't have a true SS, the dash inserts look great. I've been looking on here for one, but they're all older topics and not for sale anymore. I don't want the Intimidator SS insert, just the regular SS insert. If anyone has one let me know. I've been seeing them go for around $25-$30. Also, I'm looking for an Escalade Gauge Bezel to go with the new gauge face that's going on. Preferably one in real good condition. I appreciate any leads, thanks! Ethan.
SSBlue24
Just remember that you will also need the bracket to hold the SS dash insert in place it's a different piece from a non SSS.
1BAD2K
Yeah I had to buy that little bracket frame thing and an extra little blank square for the bottom.
DroppedOn22's
Well, I sure didn't know that. Thanks guys, I appreciate it. Is it a pain to find the bracket or install this setup? Cause like I said I can't find the SS insert anywhere.
SSBlue24
It's very easy to install just snaps out and snaps in no tools required.... And I might have an extra SS dash piece with bracket complete just need to go thru my junk in the garage.

Cause like I said I can't find the SS insert anywhere. Yeah, like Alex (ssblue24) said, it's super simple and no tools required. I have to do it for my clone. The dash piece is like $20 and the bracket is like $5 on gmpartdirect.com. And the little blanks are like $3...so if Alex doesn't have the parts, it shouldn't cost hardly anything from the dealer. Cool, that's not to bad. Do you know what keyword or part number it is? I searched for 20 mins a couple days ago on gmpartsdirect and I never could find it. Maybe I was just typing in the wrong word or searching in the wrong category. But yeah if he doesn't have it, I'll resort to checking that out. Thanks for the info guys

Thanks for the info guys Straight from gmpartdirect.com: 15734687-- Dash Blank (they don't come as a pair, so if you don't have an airbag switch there, you will need two of these.) 15207879-- Dash Housing All you have to find is someone with an SS dash piece they will sell you. Cause i'm sure if you get one from gmpartsdirect.com, they will probably send you a blank one. They aren't too hard to find though. Hope this helped! DroppedOn22's
Thank you both! Guess I just wasn't sure what to look for. I do appreciate it. I'll still wait to see if Alex has the SS insert before I order. If I do order, I only need 1 blank because I do have an airbag switch. The SS insert from gmparts has the Polished lettering, correct? There's no pic so I just want to make sure. I've seen some with that same part number, but they're all Black and so is the SS lettering. Again, thank you all for the help on this

metalmusiclver
Ok, so I have the insert installed, however, the "ss" needs the chrome ss. Where can I find this?
