When raising it it goes up like normal to a certain spot and slows way down and after a certain point it speeds back up like normal again. Any ideas? Sometimes it will stop, I releases than re apply and it goes the rest of the way. Done this te past two winters. As soon as spring rolls around she goes up like a pro. dragpny Posted January 19, 2013 Report Share Posted January 19, 2013 The factory regulator suck. The cables get all twisted and fray. Thats what happened to mine. It was gummed up from lack of use. kcsilveradoss Posted January 21, 2013 Report Share Posted January 21, 2013 Dielectric grease works also. And it is clear. Be advised if you decide to replace the motor, be careful when prying it off. Chip Posted January 21, 2013 Report Share Posted January 21, 2013 Check out your belt molding mine does this to and the belt molding is to blame whenever mine slows down i have to push the molding back down and re seat it in its original slots in door it does this all the time!!!
