danny68ss
I got a whipple off ebay installing the supercharger was no problem but can't figure out the whipple fuel system I didn't get any instructions not sure if I'm missing something
BlueAKSSS
I usually hear of people deleting the whipple fuel system and running bigger injectors in the intake. Like the 8.1L marine 42lb ones. Maybe look into that setup.
danny68ss
That's my plan for later but I would like to get it up and running for now
nelsonoffroad
U need 42lb injectors for a supercharger
danny68ss
Yea I am going to get them and a tune just like to use the whipple stuff until then
nelsonoffroad
If ur running anything under a 42lb injector I wouldn't get into the boost untill u get larger ones. U could run out of fuel and run Lean= disaster
KrausMotorSports
Same setup I'm running. Yes ditch the whippletronics if you can afford injectors and a tune depending on your location. My setup was making 10lbs. On stock motor. Pulled it off to build intercooler setup. Yes seems impossible on this set up because of hard 90' turn into I take manifold. Re routing and welding opposite 90 to passenger side and flow through intercooler and back into the intake. I will be posting in builds this weekend and pics will be up if your interested. danny68ss
Sounds nice I would like to see that I was just wanting to run the whipple stuff till I can get injectors and a tune
KrausMotorSports
Whippletonics are prone to blowing these motors up. There just not that efficient when it comes to tuning themselves. What size pulley is on your whipple? I ran 10lbs on a 4.250" pulley.
danny68ss
As far as I know is stock do you know what the stock size is
danny68ss
Did you get your intercooler worked out yet
Link2603
I ran an intercooler on my Whipple. I moved the discharge port from the right (drivers side) to the left side. Worked out very well for me. Ran 12lbs on my setup and I broke into the 12's with it. I did run 60lbs injectors on this setup with an Aeromotive 340lph pump. Also I had a custom 90 made on the intake side to accept a 90mm tb. Any questions feel free to ask.
danny68ss
I would love to see a picture of that set up I was surprised when I seen how much heat that the whipple made it could really benefit from a cooler.
