BOSE/ Radio Help PLEASE!!

Recommended Posts

I told him that but he wanted to swap the amp and I told him if he pulled the amp he could have it. What he told me that night after he put my amp in his truck is he has power to the speakers which tells me the amp is powered up. No sound not even chimes.

I think its the radio

are you aiming to go full clone?? Because for the time and effort and money going into the bose system, you should (IMO) just get a double din head unit, and custom speakers/amp and get wayyyy better sound out of it. It'll all fit in stock locations too so the only non-stock appearing thing will be the head unit, and you'll be a lot happier listening to that over the bose.

Yeah I'd like to go full clone. And I'm not a big fan of the look of aftermarket decks either. But that's just my opinion.

Ever interested in just going aftermarket?
I have, Im very tempted to just do it. But I like the idea of the stock radio since I'm doing a "clone"

My buddy had a similar issue with his Bose in his TBSS. One day it worked and the next it would power on but get no sound. He had it looked at and the radio was junk. Have you tried another radio?

I have tried another radio. No luck Edited by SSilverBeast (see edit history)
