SSchevySS
Dont know if this is it, But my old 4wd was doing something like this and the bolts in the trans mount had broken !!! Downeast Johnny
Is the truck lifted? Have you been under the back end to check out how that was done, (If it is lifted)? Thinking possible poorly mounted lift blocks, or brocken bolts on brackets or blocks. Like SSchevySS, I've had broken engine and trans mounts feel like what you have described, too. Keep us posted as to what you find. Edited December 9, 2012 by Downeast Johnny (see edit history)

Downeast Johnny
Good call on packing it with grease. At least that will let you know, for sure, if that's where the noise is coming from.
