gilrodz
I was wondering i have a 07 silverado crew cab (classic) with the regular ac heater controls, was wondering if they can simply be changed to the digital control that i have seen on other similer truck or is it a pain? shawnss
No I was wondering the same thing. So i bought a digital one and tried installing it thinking it was just a matter of swapping it in. well it didn't work. on the back of the digital one there is a extra pigtail plug in that you need and our wiring harness doesn't have it. Blown 346
Its a pain. You have to have the sensor installed on the head liner and wire in the extra harness. Its alot of work and a decent amount if money. There is a write up here somewhere, someone did this a few years back with pictures etc.
