They will replace it for almost anything and you just buy another warranty for around $25. This is what I did and has worked great esp when my speaker went bad. SuperStock Posted January 21, 2013 Report Share Posted January 21, 2013 I would recommend the Passport 9500i or ix. I had the 8500 and in my opinion it sucks. The gps on the 9500i and ix are awesome. The only problem with the valentine one is all the false alerts you get, because you can not save false alerts, like you can in the 9500 so it seems to always be going off if you live in a highly populated area.
