been searching up and down for a decent header priced well i came across these so close to pulln the trigger on em but i figured id see what you guys think first. as far as plans for the truck im staying N/A motor with a mild cam i have just putting parts together right now. im not interested in LT cuz i just bought and install ARH high flow cats .

ok so after your guys resopnses and lil more thinkn iam going to go the LT route. better results all around in sound and perfromance so this is what i think im going to buy check it out kinda takes care of my Y-pipe issue to. and not to much more than my first thought so wont break the bank

The calspeed one sound like they will need to be modified a little. I do not believe OBX will need modification. If you do go with the Calspeed make sure you go with the 1 7/8 instead of the 1 3/4. Its only $50 and will be well worth it, especially if you want to do a cam or F/I later in the future.

Are you awd? If so stay away from calspeeds, they do NOT fit if you're awd. Speaking from personal experience here

im with everybody else- its not worth the money, you wont see hardly any gains with shortys. go for some longtubes and a good tune. ive also never really heard of or used that company so im not sure

 

as for the size- IF your planning on sticking with bolt-ons, mild cam, and staying under 500 RWHP use the 1 3/4" headers. you will loose low end torque if you run 1 7/8" on a stock/mild modified truck, ive seen it on the dyno before. the 1 3/4'' will get you just fine where you need to go unless your looking for some serious HP. the only NA LSx's we run 1 7/8" on is LS3/7 style head vehicles, they flow alot more air :thumbs:
