pedro1452
Starting to get a little rust around wheel wells on both sides. I know i have several options. I can either cut out and replace the bad spots, replace the whole bed, or replace the bed sides. I am not sure which would be the best/cheapest way. i am also undecided if i should go with fiberglass or metal bedsides if i go that route. Anyone have any input, opinions, or other options? Jim04SS
I am a body man and painter and have my own shop and have worked at several GM dealer ship body shops. I would highly suggest that you replace the bedsides. I have seen several people try to patch the bad spots and they will start rusting agine or somewhere else hope this helps. EmoWalrus05
and if you replace the bed is way less cost effectivee

DGIEPSS
i would replace the whole bed side and buy the steel i really doubt the fiberglass would look good go metal undercoat and get it oil sprayed when finished and it will last
