Stitches040
Hey All ... I'm finally thinking of getting set of new Wheels and Tires ... Thinking of getting these ... Akuza Blades 381 in 22" ... http://www.ebay.com/...984.m1438.l2649 Just need a little help with a few little things. Offset .. I just want rims that sit identical to the Factory Stock 20's What is offset, and will these be ok? Bolt pattern ... Will these fit? We are 6x5.5 correct? or 6x139.5? What size tire are you all running on your 22"s, that don't rub and are comprable to factory ride height? If I did my calculations right, I'm looking at a 305/40/22. Who has that size, and how do they fit? Thanks in advance, Shuan Edited February 10, 2013 by Stitches040 (see edit history)
JC03SS
I'm pretty sure the 20" is a +22 offset. And if I'm not mistaken 6 on 5.5 is correct. Edited February 10, 2013 by JC03SS (see edit history)

T-Bag
If you want to run a 305 tire you will need an offset of +31 or greater in order to not rub. Those being +35 will work fine. But remember it's a 9" wide rim so I'd run a 295 tire so they don't buldge out too much. For my taste I like a tire more in line witrh rim If you're on stock height you may want to consider 295/45s. Itll close the gap a little. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/brochure/info/tmpInfoTireMath.jsp Edited February 10, 2013 by Bad Ass Silvy (see edit history)

I also found the 285/40/22 is pretty much a spot on match for your 275/50/20 ...   Edited February 11, 2013 by Stitches040 (see edit history)

90zxdriver
My truck came with a set of Akuza rims when I bought it. I don't know if some of their rims are better than others but the ones I had were junk. The chrome was all pitted, corroded and flaking off. This was a Florida truck so it never saw winters. Looks aside, the worst part about them was they would not hold a balance. I can't remember how many times I had them balanced. They would ride okay for a few weeks but then would get out of balance and cause a shake/shimmy in the truck. I found a set of factory SSS wheels on Craigslist, dumped the Akuza's and have been happy since. I think they were Akuza Bounce rims.
