diggerdan11
Just did a search with compine and it says there are only 2,514 vehicle matching my search with the Option Package 1SS. Slightly different number than Bassmaster got I cant believe GM only made 2,514 SS's (2,076 AWD) in 2005. So according to everyone so far they made: 10,022 in 2003, 5098 in 2004, and 2,514 in 2005. I would really like to see how many were made in 06 and I bet it is a tiny amount in 07. Someone with a 06 needs to do this look up, and maybe someone with an 07. If these numbera are true then there are a lot less SS's than I thought. I figured around 10K a year, but there may be quite a bit less. bassmaster
Well my results for 1SS also says 2,514. But that is not the number representing if it is an SS or not imo. Because that number does not show up anywhere else. However, the 2,627 shows up several times that include options specific to only SS's. So basically; '1SS' doesn't mean SS. Check the other stats for matching numbers and patterns imo sent from your HTC Rezound Edited February 11, 2013 by bassmaster (see edit history)
SSchevySS
Ok I copied VIN's from trucks on cars.com and this is what I came up with !!! 2003 vtv [unknown]= 10068 {and that # matches up with other RPO's that would be part of our trucks in all years !!!} 1SS======== 9357 2004 vtv [unknown]= 5098 1SS======== 4932 2005 vtv [unknown]= 2627 1SS=========2514 2006 vtv [unknown]= 2740 1SS=========2708 2007 vtv [unknown]= 189 1SS=========183 ' So there is a ballpark of each year !!! Hope this helps someone !!!
tayldss
Ran the vin on the website for my 04 victory red SSS. Lowest number I found was for the wheels at 3651... would that mean 3651 of the 5098 in 2004 were victory red SS?? bassmaster
That's what I'm saying! The "unknown" code has to = SS. I'm not sure what the 1SS would be though sent from your HTC Rezound

I would say no, But i would say two wheel packages were offered all years: Silver or Chrome::: Which wheels do you have ? Thats how many have your wheels: But I am only guessing at that... Hope this helps someone !!! Thanks for sharing. So 19,694 SS's were made from 2003-06 (Im lumping in the 07's with the 06's ince they were carry overs). Thats using the 1SS pakage. GM Sold 3,007,121 Silverados total from 2003-2006. So SS's only accont for a very small percentage of all Silverados. 0.6% of the total Silverado (including 1500, and HD's)

Lowest number I found was for the wheels at 3651... would that mean 3651 of the 5098 in 2004 were victory red SS?? I don't think so- Once upon a time, I read somewhere that red was one of the more rare colors in '04 (which I found difficult to believe) but regardless, I agree, final production #s would be nice. MID12sSSS
Every time I see that #1103, I know it will hard to actually ever sell it. I am a total geek for low production numbers. I agree production totals for other years would be great! Haha yeah! 1 of 1103.. We are almost as rare as the ISS models!
