rubecube
hello SS fam, i have a seperate amp hooked to my subs under rear seat. i put a new head unit in about 3-4 months ago, and recently it started to make a thump thump thump sound. now the front speakers, have completly stopped working, but the subs still come on. the dude where i got radio installed says that it is my bose amp that may be fried. has anyone had this problem?? and if so whats the best solution, cause i've heard changing out bose amp is a bitch! (excuse my french)
1BAD2K
Its possible that it could be the amp. They're not too hard to change. No more than an hour at the most. I actually think I have one more of them sitting in the house if you end up needing one. Shoot me a pm.
[email protected]
I believe there is a bose adapter they use for changing head units and they are known to make things such as this happen if they are a cheap brand and go out..
