isidroarreola
Hey guys I haven't been on in a while because I've been so busy with school and work but I got my taxes done and went ahead and ordered me some new wheels. They are AR899 20" aluminum wheels. I think they weight 30lbs each. Anyways, I was wanting some opinions on tire sizes. I'm obviously wanting to go faster since I'm downgrading from heavy 22"s. From what I understand, smaller tires will give me a lower gear ratio. I'm looking at either a 275/40/20 which is about 28.66" tall putting me at about 4.53 gearing... Or a 275/45/20 which is about 29.5" tall that will put me at 4.27ish? What would y'all recommend? Truck has intake, Lt headers, exhaust, and Zippy tune. My next mods will be a 4l80e swap with a 2800-3200 stall. https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=8FD3E0EC6DE30E41!171&authkey=!ADQ8LN3rx1yr-WE
rickyrick562
Trucks don't look to good with small tires just my opinion
isidroarreola
I also have a 3/4 drop so it won't look as bad.
diggerdan11
Trucks don't look to good with small tires just my opinion I agree. They need a little more meat to the tires on a truck.
isidroarreola
I am aware of that and I agree. However I am not worried about appearance but rather performance.
KrausMotorSports
Rims look pretty good. Not a bad decision but I've always liked the stockers. Im just biased though. But I'm also a big fan of a nice set of meats to fill the wheel well. But to each there own. Truck should look nice when there on! Enjoy! isidroarreola
I bought this truck with 22"s otherwise I would have loved to have the stockers.
