chawkins6789
Could I run a 90 mm on a stock manifold? If so what all would be needed. I will consider the FAST LSXr or LSXrt manifolds too. I just don't know all the technicals of the swap. Would it help throttle response or anything for that matter? canadianVRss
You mean like a ls3 4 bolt tb? No.
chawkins6789
No to what part? Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk
canadianVRss
It won't bolt to your stock intake manifold. You need a 4bolt intake manifold (L92, I think tbss as well) or a adaptor plate. you'll also need a X link to adapt from a 8pin to 6pin 90mm tb. chawkins6789
Like mentioned I could do a FAST Manifold with the 90 mm adapter plate if that will work. X-Link wouldn't be a problem either Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk
canadianVRss
Then do er up, there are gains to be had.

chawkins6789
I am really curious because although I plan on supercharging, I am going to stay N/A for a while. Where do I look for X-Link's at? Edited March 17, 2013 by chawkins6789 (see edit history)

chawkins6789
Ok I have that written down. So any idea what The LS3/7 Throttle body and LSXrt manifold will get me to the wheels?
chawkins6789
It looks like this will be my next mod, with the 75mm adapter plate to convert back to the LQ9 TB for emissions testing. I think I'm going to do the billet fuel rails too. Should I just go ahead and change injectors while I do it. I just need to gather info. I'm a bit anal about this stuff and keep a parts list and spreadsheet of part/part#/cost/website or store. Blown 346
HP gains all depend on supporting mods, and each motor will make different power. From the mods I see that you have so far, maybe 20 HP at the Motor.
Aldofashow
That sounds like a lot of dough for 20 horse at the motor at the wheels that's like 12-14 horse
detjoe
IMO put that $$ into a coffee can till you have enough to S/C it...those fast intakes are expensve and not shown to help our heavy trucks in any way...I think there is a dyno with a L92 intake doing really well against a $1000 fast intake. 1skss
Could just run a fast intake with a small shot of spray?
