Whats the best way to get rid of it or hide it before having it painted?? I refuse to paint the hood with the plastic piece on it! I frickin love you're exhaust! jddmj Posted April 21, 2013 Report Share Posted April 21, 2013 If it was me I would remove the front plate and plate bracket. Hood looks good. If you remove the bracket you have holes in the bumper? What do you do about those holes?Looks good! That has always been my favorite hood for the 03-05 trucks. But ditch the plate, and get yourself a blue SS insert for your shopman.
