Chevy2K5 Posted June 18, 2013 Report Share Posted June 18, 2013 (edited) I'm looking to replace the stock speakers in my 03 Silverado extended cab with BOSE. I don't know much about car audio but read that you should match aftermarket speakers to the same ohms as the factory ones. I'm keeping the factory head unit and amp. Does anyone know for sure what the specs are on the BOSE system? I've been doing a lot of research and have not came up with a definitive answer. I've heard 2ohms all around, 4ohms all around, and 4ohm front/2ohm rear, 4ohm front/8ohm rear. Crutchfield can't even give me a consistent answer. I ended up buying Boston Acoustics S65 speakers for the front and S75 speakers for the rear a while back but not sure if I should use them.
