sprayed99
Yes sir it is How so? always up for constructive criticism. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 And thanks every one. I appreciate it Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 Mainly that is just me giving you some shit... Hence the LOL To be clear I was talking about the headlights and taillights. Not sure what clear you are using, but a good quality high solids urethane should lay out completely flat without any orange peel. It does however take a good amount of practice. Hell when I haven't sprayed paint in a while I go buy a mailbox and paint it just to get back in the flow of things before I paint anything that is important. I use PPG 2021 or 2002 mostly and in some cases I will use their Global ceramic clear on parts that will take a beating like front bumpers and engine bay parts. Another tip that I use is I watch about an inch behind my spray pattern to see how the clear is laying out. I also always shoot clear out of my 1.4 Sata and have the gun set 2.5 turns off of the nozzle seat. That gun is specifically set up as my clear gun and sees no other use. I also never shoot it below 28psi and never above 30psi. If you ever need any tips on the mixing of the base coat to get the optimum light transmission give me a call sometime and I can possibly help refine what your doing. Keep up the killer work Justin!
