Blown 346
Try adjusting the head unit first, if it has a system re adjust the amplifier.
jovanny
What do i adjust on the headunit?
cb2big4u
Like the volume of 1 is not low and its loud? Might want to check the wiring harness behind the radio. If you have a Bose amp and he bought the correct one it has a dial to turn the gain down. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
jovanny
Yeah i have bose, The adapter is the gmos-1 with the aswc for steering wheel controls. The idiot installed it with tape
cb2big4u
Hmm. That one does not have the adjustment I was thinking of. It's only for onstar and chime volume adjustments on it. Defiantly has to have something to do with gain going to the amp from the head unit though. I just can't think of anything worth checking except going through the menus and make sure everything looks to par. Maybe toss that boss crap in the garbage and get something worth while. gcosse05
It may have a source level adjust, or SLA. Used for that exact situation.
Miller812
I had this same problem with an alpine head unit. Switched to a Kenwood and no issue. Same harness. And i went through everything on the alpine deck and there was nothing to get it to go down.
