sunshinestatess Posted July 10, 2013 Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 so awhile back i ordered obx longtubes and this past weekend i had time off so i was gonna attempt the install. i lay out all the parts headers, obx y-pipes with the open cat chambers, gaskets, bolts the works. i get to looking at the headers and i notice on the passanger side header front downtube there is this little 1/4" tube and a flange with two bolt holes coming off ot it its about 4" long. 1st question is what is this for, i dont see anytrhing on the stock manifold for this. 2nd question can i cut it off and weld it up right there, or should i just fabricate a blank for the flange.
