Thing1
I was wondering what size tire you guys would recommend on a 4/6 drop running on OEM ss wheels? The reason I ask is I have seen several people say that the 275/45/20 rubs, but then again their offset may have been different. I hit the side of the bed often with my tire sidewall running a 285/50/20 on a 2/4 drop and don't want this to happen when I go lower. Thanks! ThatTallCanadian
275/40/20 here as well. Currenrly sitting on 265/35/22for rolling diameter comparison and no rubbing issues except on large bumps
SickChevy06
275/40/20 Edited November 30, 2013 by Sickchevy06 (see edit history)
white03ecsb
275/40 is what I ran at 6/9.5 But they would be a good size for 4/6 and you wouldnt rub Btw oem 20s are +31mm offset
Superman09
I am 4/6 with 275/45/20s and do not rub at all. Wheels are Texas Edition's
kelleyperformance
yeah id say you will be fine with 275/40R20s. i am running a 4/5 drop on my JGP truck on 22x10" SSS replicas, on 285/35R22 and it tucks them just fine. cant recall offset but visually its high enough to fit inside the rear bed/fender lip and pretty damn well into the front, although i do run about 1.7-2 deg of neg camber in front on this truck
