Black Beast
Today, I got on it a little bit... Not 100% but close... I noticed that the traction control light flashed a bit, then my system chimed and the computer display says "Service Brake System".... So, What's going on? 2006 SS
90zxdriver
Traction control... Whats that? j/k
Blown 346
Maybe a vacuum hose issue. I would check your brake fluid, possibly bleed the system first if it hasnt been done.
Black Beast
Anyone else have an idea, emergency brake light is flashing also...
Blown 346
I would start by taking the brakes apart and inspecting them. It could be as easy as a bad ABS sensor.
RumRunner
I recommend finding out what code is set in the abs module and go from there. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
GI.SS
double check your emergency brake isnt pushed down at all. my daughter pushed mine down one click and It caused this. A VSS also gave me a service brake system light as well. Make sure all the abs sensors are plugged in. 2 on the hubs and the one on the rear. maybe something kicked up and hit it? Black Beast
Haha... wow. I had low brake fluid... When I'd get on it, im guessing it would shift, reach the "warning" limit, truck would chime... If all else fails, check fluid....
GI.SS
remember that stuff just dont vanish. find the leak now. not when trying to stop at 80+ on the freeway!
ssfast
If you brake pads are low (small amount of friction material) that can cause the bake fluid to look low because the caliper pistons are pushed out farther! Check that because if you topped it up and install new pads its gotta go some where! And don't get it on your paint!!
