rickyrick562
I want to get the tru cool 40k trans cooler but don't know where to mount it due to the radix heat exchanger. Do any of you radix guys have any suggestions/pics on where to put it.
zachm89
You could try mounting it in the lower bumper opening, should give it more than enough air flow. Dont have a Radix but just a thought for ya!
T-Bag
On my buddys truck we mounted his TruCool in front of the Radix heat exchanger, grille would not fit so he had to shave down some areas with a dremel tool.

Only reason I wouldnt mount it in front of the heat exchanger is the already imposing heat issues with the blowers. Not saying it wont work there, I would just rather have all the unrestricted air flow over the radix heat exchanger as possible, as well as keeping the trans cooler away from the possible radiant heat of the exchanger

T-Bag
Here's where my Radix heat exchanger is mounted, lower bumper area. May want to relocate it like stated above and put Tru Cool behind grille, best of both worlds. Or vice versa. sprayed99
Move the heat exchanger behind the lower opening to get it away from the radiator. Then buy Time2kills brackets and mount the trans cooler where it is supposed to be.
