coal miner
Will the driveshafts off a 2500 work for the swap? I can't find a place locally that dose custom driveshafts.
zachm89
Front driveshaft from a duramax will work, I have the part number somewhere or I can crawl under the truck and get it off the driveshaft for you. For the rear, youre limited to finding someone who can shorten your stock driveshaft or have a new one made. I had one made for mine because I couldnt find anyone in my area to cut and shorten the aluminum stocker.
AKSSS
I'm in for front driveshaft part number!!
coal miner
Yeah a part number would be great. Do you have the measurements for the rear shaft form center of the u-joint to the center of the other? What can I pull a flex plate off of for the swap? zachm89
Not a problem fellas. If its still daylight when I get home from work Ill crawl under there and get the part number for the front shaft and measure the rear.
chawkins6789
From my reading, a 6.0 ECSB 2500HD rear shaft will work. You just have to install a 1350 yoke on your rear pinion shaft Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk

coal miner
Will the shaft mate up to the awd transfer case? Sorry about all the questions, trying to get a list together of the parts I need.
chawkins6789
That one I dont know about. I read a "how to" for a 2wd on LS1truck.com the 4wd shaft might work Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk
Link2603
Will the shaft mate up to the awd transfer case? Sorry about all the questions, trying to get a list together of the parts I need. The front one will mate up, not sure about the rear one. I just had a custom one made for mine. TvsQuez
FRONT SHAFT PART #- 15182094 Ebay for 99$. I'm in for the rear shaft, and if I can get away with cutting that would be perfect.
coal miner
Form what I've read a 2500 rear shaft will work if you change the yoke to a 1350. I found one on jegs for 130 bucks that will fit the 10 bolt. The only thing idk about yet is if the drive shaft will work with the awd transfer case. chawkins6789
Measure then measure again on both a 4x4 2500 shaft and your shaft. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk Pro
