E-fan swap actually produce HP?

You don't necessarily "gain" hp. You more or less "free up" hp by removing the extra rotational mass of a mechanical fan. Your motor needs to drive all of your accessories and they are a draw on your motor. They sap hp. Same concept with an electric water pump. Less drag on your motor frees up more hp. It's not a lot, but ever little bit helps. It all adds up.

Mine will come on after driving for about 5 minutes and typically stay on...it does keep the temps down, but I believe they both kick on so thats why it is so loud...I forgot what he said he set them at but they are not shy about powering up lol
