I wanna see this thing installed. Yes a tool (mold) is made first from an actual oem bow tie. then the bow tie base is formed. Then then cf is applied to the face of it via wet lay up. Resin, cleared, cut and then polished. Perfecting the tooling is what takes up a lot of time as the tool is going to represent the product being made.
