4Runner
I have been following up on this truck and came up on this site. http://www.autoweek.com/article/20140127/CARNEWS/140129810. BLOWN SS/T
Not able to see the link. But been hearing about it and saw pics. So is it the ls9 that's in the truck, and what did they do with the suspension? And is leignfelter selling these or they actually making them for GM to sell
4Runner
Try this one sorry http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2014/02/2014-lingenfelter-reaper-package.html It is a actual suspension lift. Has fox racing on all 4 corners. I haven't read all but would assume that they did away with the TB and did coils in the front. Motor is the 5.3 or the 6.2. 4Runner
It seems as if Toyota is going to be opening a new line to:) I'm more of Toyota fan myself. http://www.fourwheeler.com/news/1402-2015-toyota-trd-pro-models-unveiled-at-chicago-auto-show/
Downeast Johnny
The Reaper looks, and "reads" pretty good. I like the part about 500 - 600 HP. Visually those are the best turds I've out of Toyota in quite a while. Those trucks have been butt ugly for a while.
4Runner
I have always found every Toyota truck/4runner from 70-to present very attractive

4Runner
Toyota is American. It's made here in the U.S. Why do you think they are in nascar now?
rcapone
Toyota is American. It's made here in the U.S. Why do you think they are in nascar now? Toyota is a Japanese Company. Just because they manufacture some of their models here doesn't make it an American Company. NASCAR does not only allow American car companies to compete either to answer your question. These other car companies have also competed in NASCAR: Alfa Romeo Aston Martin Austin-Healey Jaguar MG Motor Porsche Triumph Motor Company & VW Edited February 11, 2014 by L8ERBRO (see edit history)
JC03SS
I got only one friend with a yota he hates it but it's his work truck. He says the tundra mpg is horrible. I think there butt ass ugly but also each to there own.
4Runner
Wow I had no idea that those other company's raced in nascar. I know that it's owned buy Japanese. But what I'm getting at is like dodge for instance. They are built in Mexico. Giving them our work. Chevy, as far as I can tell built in Canada? I may be wrong bout that but everything is at least made their. And ford.... Well I have no clue about where they are built. Ether way I have owned three toyota truck and neither one have I ever had a problem with them. But!! I do love my Chevy to death! Will never sell it. It is also a good vehicle. I just have had more major problem with it then my toyotas. And I beat the hell out of those trucks. I ask a lot out of the two I own now. Is that the only problem you have with them? It's not "American?"

It's not "American?" I'm not saying Toyota doesn't make a good product, it's just my preference to spend my $ with an American company...I've always owned Chevys and have never had any major problem with any of them. They have small little quirks as do all vehicles - doors too heavy on the 80's trucks and hinge pins would break or come out - steering shafts on our SS's, had some wiper problems on my lifted '98, but all in all Chevy makes the best truck in the industry IMO. I've owned an '82 RCLB, '89 RCLB w/3" suspension lift and 33's, a '98 s-10, a '98 Silverado ext. cab LB w/6" Superlift and 35's, a 2004 Silverado ext. cab. LB big block w/6" RCD lift and 35's, an '06 Silverado ext. cab LB turbo diesel w/9" Fabtech and 37" MT's. AND, I currently own an '07 Silverado Z71 and of course my '04 SSS. Toyota's aren't a very attractive ride either btw...just my opinion!
4Runner
Lol ya you have owned a lot of trucks. Not a big fan of any IFS on anything. Unless it completely built which can be way more money then a good SAS. I like them all. Every brand has their weakness. I don't much care for fords but that was my first car was a 70 high boy. $450 and it never broke down. Even jumped it a couple times. But what does everyone else think about these trucks? Dodge also has on called a ram runner. Any one seen or own those?
