pulling front shaft??

Recommended Posts

I am at the dyno now and it would not stretch far enough.

When pulling the front shaft, how do you do it?

We have the front all unbolted, do you just cut the metal band on the boot and then pull it out?

Will it leak fluid everywhere?

Standing by, so any quick replies would be great.

Thanks,

It is four bolts in the front and they are already out, but what do you do in the rear?

They are pulling them right out aren't they?

Just don't know if a bunch of fluid is going to start coming out when we pull it.

He doesn't want fluid all over his brand new dyno..lol

Thanks for any help,

Well I am home from the dyno now and all went well.

Because of my long tube headers and the SuperMaxx cats and mid pipes it was a pain to get the shaft out.

After about a half hour trying to get it out all different ways we ended up pulling out the front o2 sensor. That gave us enough room to get the shaft pulled out.

Thanks for all the help and I will post the numbers on the other thread that I started..
