elijah
Has anyone ever tried using the tbss navigation unit on a silverado ss? Is this even possible?
Blown 346
I wouldnt see why not. Both vehicles use the same electrical components. Unless there is something the TBSS has that the silverado doesnt.
jddmj
I would suspect the wiring would have to be changed over. That could be a pain in the rear. Might be better to go with a aftermarket unit.

8hnpSS
wont work. you need a nav from a escalade/hummer/denali. i did the swap years ago it plugs right in and youl have to go to the dealer to unlock it.
chawkins6789
Arent they all the same unit as long as you use the bose/non bose one that is for your truck Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
chpspecial
Yes they will work, I believe all trailblazer and envoy use the non-lux Bose sound system so it's plug and play. I'm using the factory nav from an envoy on my 03 gmc. PnP with n o issues. You will just need someone with a tech 2 to do a vin relearn Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk
teamvortec
I have a nav unit in mine from a 05 tahoe. I added GM GPS antenna everything was plug and play. A buddy at GM place did vin relearn. Best option for a radio to me.
