NipRing
Like some kind of rubber gasket or seal? It looks like something goes there, but i don't have it. After i drive in the rain or snow, the inside of my engine compartment looks like shit. I'm getting tired of cleaning it.
JF-03-SS
Don't drive in the rain or snow.....problem solved You have nothing on the underside? Hood insulation?
NipRing
I have the insulation, but up at the front along the edge there are a series of square holes. They look like they would hold up the seal or whatever to help keep crap from coming through the hood/grill gap.
D1SCSS
There should be a rubber seal that mounts to your black plastic windshield valance panel.
NipRing
That piece i have. I'm talking about on the underside of the hood itself at the front. There is a series of square holes across from one side to the other. On my old 92 chevy truck i remember a rubber seal/weatherstrip/gasket of some sort attached at that point. Fireman31
Negative, no rubber seal there...
Blown 346
Agree, no seal. Even if there was a seal there, you would still have crap get inside the engine compartment thru the grill, and underside.
teamvortec
The square holes were for the optional "GM" bug deflector.
