New Guy with a black SS in socal

Hey guys i just found this site today so of coarse i had to jump in and join.

 

Ive got a Black SS that ive had for about a month and i love it. Ive already put a UPD intake on it and electric fans. Hopefully i will have my 3000 stall torque converter by the end of the month and then some full lenght Headers :thumbs:

 

I also have a 2000 Silverado on bags and 20s that i am selling if anyone is interested or knows anyone thats interested

 

Im definately a huge chevy guy and all my cars are chevies :thumbs:

 

I also have a '76 K5 Blazer with a 10" lift and 40s

 

and a '68 camaro with a fuel injected 383 and a t-56 speed :thumbs: This car is my real project car that should be on the road in a month or 2.

Yup, I know where that is, I grew up here in OC :P We ought to get together and take some pictures of our trucks side by side :cool: . And if we can find someone with a red SS, we can get the whole set together :D

 

The local Furd Lightning guys are trying to setup a day at California Speedway and invited any SSs that want to come along

Since we can only run around 15.2 stock, they will whoop our butts, but it would be fun to see a bunch of trucks on the drag strip. It is fun to go to the drag strip at least once and see what she will do.

Trust me, its gonna see the track a few times :thumbs:

 

If it doesnt rain, im gonna try and go to Irwindale on thurs and see what i can run in the 1/8th

 

 

I need to get a good baseline run to see how much work i need to turn this truck into the lightning killer that it should be :smash:

Kenwood Excelon headunit, Excelon amp powering the highs, Boston Pro series 6.5" component speakers in the doors, and they are still stock in the back. im trying to find some good speaker for the rear right now. And a fosgate amp powering 2 10" JL w3s
