Cam Selection

I have a ECSB Lq9 auto with 3.73s. I regularly tow a 8x8x14 draggy enclosed trailer that weighs about 2500 lbs. I want some spunk, but I don't want to sacrifice my towing ability. I plan to run a stock converter, with the possibility of later puting a TB converter. I have 275-55-20 tires that are almost 32" tall by calculation. I tow/cruise at 70-75 at 2100-2200 RPM.

My planned mods are: Magnaflow exhaust, Thorley headers, EFans, ASP Pulley, 160 Tstat, K&N FIPK, Shift kit-servos-BIG cooler, Dyno tune, and drop it down about 1".

I am looking for cam suggestions for you guys. Here is the one to beat in my mind: Comp 212 / 218 .522 / .529 114 LSA.

Thanks for your help.

Order a custom comp cam - same price. Get something like a 214 218 .556 .563 114 +2. The extra lift will make more power, but there isn't any more overlap than the low lift version. That means equal or greater torque. Even the high lift version of the 212/218 would be good.
