Noticing lots of wind noise coming from both sides between front and rear doors. Notice it mainly at high speeds when radio off. SS had vent shades on the doors when I purchased it. If I remove these will it stop the noise? Anyone add these and notice increased noise? As for now I'll just turn the radio up :D .

I have seen the problem arrise on a lot of trucks from the side mouldings on the windshield, especially when it has been replaced. The side mouldings aren't exactly siff, and if they were not installed tight up against the w/s or were pulled off incorrectly at one point in time, they can be the culprit. You can take them off pretty easily, just pull up on the weatherstrip, and get a torx screwdriver (there are 5 screws that hold each side down) (the bottom one can be a little tricky, you may need a ratchet to get it).

How I fix them outside of the Plant is to lift the reveal molding (that is what the black molding that runs down each side of the windshield. Lift them up and run a bead of silicone between the molding and the windshield. That will make the molding stick down.

The other spot that causes a lot of windnoise is the rubber between the front door and rear door. Make sure the rubber is laying correctly at the top of the rear door (make sure it isn't folded over or back).
