SweetpeaSS
Just trying to weigh out the pros and cons of 2WD vs AWD. How is the 2WD in 4 season weather and how bad is the front diff on the AWD..? Any and all information will help. Thanks in advance!
A_FUrious
RWD blows in the snow. I generally put a blanket on her for the winter. My local speed shop labels the RWD SS's as the "fast" SS.. 'Injection Connection'
03SSBoy
AWD are amazing in the snow and fun ;) The front diffs generally go out at 100k miles but it can go out at any time. i would not choose rwd in snowy areas

diggerdan11
The AWD system on the SS is far superior to a regular 4wd systems when it comes to driving in snow. I also dont think the front differential issue is as big of a deal as some people think. As long as you take care of it, and dont try to put to much power through it, it should be fine. 03SSBoy
Its not a big deal at all. Its just something that might need to be rebuilt.
